Introduction
HDPE power pipes are made of high-quality high-density polyethylene resin as the main raw material, with appropriate additives, and are manufactured via the extrusion process. These HDPE conduits can be installed by means of horizontal directional drilling (HDD), traditional trenching, and other methods. They are widely used as protective sleeves for buried high-voltage cables and street lamp cables.
Description of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Power Pipe
The purpose of HDPE power pipe is to provide a clear, protected pathway for a cable. The HDPE power pipes are manufactured for mechanical protection to High Voltage, Low Voltage and Service electrical cables. Basically HDPE power pipes are used for installations of local and long-distance power networks. The outer HDPE shell makes the pipe more tough and durable and enables the duct to withstand the pressure during insertion / pulling of cable as well as retain the roundness under soil pressure and traffic load.
